Responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per Company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, cash register operations and safeguarding company assets.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Increase sales and ensure efficiency
  2. Accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash register transactions
  3. Ensuring that standards for quality customer service are met
  4. Responsible for basic store maintenance (dusting and cleaning)
  5. Friendly interaction with travelers and the public
  6. Follow and understand sales policies and procedures, and employee policies andprocedures
  7. Responsible for maintaining neat store appearance and inviting presentation
  8. Excellent Customer Service skills
  9. Flexible Schedule (nights, early mornings, weekends, holidays)
  10. Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or transport and deliver goods
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to follow company’s policy and procedures Handbook
  • Ability to be on your feet and perform work requiring physical abilities to lift up to 40 lbs,stand, bend, and walk for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to count and stock inventory
  • Ability to be a team player that uses initiative and adopt a leadership role as appropriate
  • Ability to take and follow direction
  • Be able to use Suggestive Selling Techniques
  • Ability to work on a cash register/POS system
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or GED preferred. One-year experience directly related to retail sales, cash handling skills, and customer service is strongly recommended.
